bridal fanfare

*whew* its over! (at least for a couple of weeks)! lol! Beth and Paul got married this past saturday! its official - they are Paul and Beth Kay! :) it was a gorgeous wedding! and it went very smoothly! probably one of the calmest weddings i've ever been to! the weekend started off on friday - we girls (Beth, Abby-her sister/matron of honor, Allie-one of beth's besties, Sarah Kate-beth's cousin and me) all went to get a little pampered! getting our nails done (and a little bit of waxing) followed by lunch at Panera, where Rebekah-another cousin of beth's- joined us! after that, they all ran some errands and i went for a hair cut! then they had the rehearsal dinner that afternoon! then later we all met back up at maumelle park with beth and paul and a bunch of friends and family for the rehearsal dinner! andy and becky kay put the dinner together and it was wonderful! they did such a good job!
after the rehearsal dinner was over, joel and i joined a couple of the cousins for a late night card game and then we all went off to bed!
waking up saturday morning, joel and i grabbed shane (abby's husband/joel's brother-in-law) and headed to the church! from then on everything flew by and before long, we were waving beth and paul away with the "wedding wands"!

after clean up, we headed back to the riley's. spent the rest of the afternoon lounging then some swimming, then some more food (we had TONS of wedding food left over and some friends from BCLR brought BBQ by for dinner!)! all in all, the wedding day went great!
yesterday was just a relaxation and recuperating day! and now, its back to real life - work! :P lol! so for now the wedding bustle is over, until the 20th...Paul and Holly will be getting married! yay!
