i got my hairs cut

hello bloggers!
it is an absolutely GORGEOUS day in Little Rock! the sun is shining...its about 65 degrees...and it even smells fresh outside! lol!
so i just got my hair cut. i LOVE that feeling of fresh cut hair! i cut it the same way i did last time i went in. so nothing new...just re-shortened! haha!
this may sound totally cheesy...but this is what i was thinking about while getting my hair cut:
that fresh clean feeling i get when i just get my hair cut is wonderful. i feel like and joyful and just great. that's the same thing i should feel every morning when i read scripture. i should have that fresh prunned (i think that's how you spell that...lol) and cut feeling. there should be a daily clipping in our lives of the sins that Holy Spirit is slowly cutting away. so often i worry about what my physical appearance is, like my hair or make up, that the spiritual, the stuff that really counts, falls to the wayside. its not a matter of cosmetics, its a matter of the heart. needless to say, i didn't know a haircut could be so convicting! lol!
