hello again!
i just wanted to share something that touched me this morning! i have some great friends that have a band and their music is SO encouraging! you've probably heard of them, but maybe not...Across the Valley! their songs are absolutely wonderful...you can see their stuff at acrossthevalley.com
anyways...this morning i was listening to my music on shuffle and one of their songs, Marvelous Creator, came on. its probably one of my favorites of theirs. here's the lyrics...hmmm..how awesome my God is!
Marvelous Creator
Verse 1:
How many times has the ocean been crossed?
How many times has the ozone been breached?
Through the years all these planets we’ve discovered
Yet how many have we reached?
Chorus:
How great is our marvelous creator
Who makes all things.
How great is the love of a Father
Who heals our needs.
You are great, You are God, my Lord.
Verse 2:
How many times has our Savior been questioned?
How many times has he been put to the test?
Through the years all these scientist discover,
Yet through the times they continue to confess.
Bridge:
No eye can conceive.
No word can describe.
No picture can portray
The beauty of your righteousness.
No evil can defeat.
No grave can contain.
No sin will remain
The wonder of your love.

Hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note on my blog about "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". We got the movie today...the kids and I just watched it. It was good and stuck very close to the book, but the book was much better. I missed being able to hear/read what Bruno was thinking. Also, John Boyne is an amazing writer. He doesn't come right out and tell you much, but lets you read between the lines. There was also an element of innocence verses denial from Bruno that I thought the story centered around. I didn't get this so much from the movie. Then again, I just LOVE reading!! I'm glad we finally got to see the movie. I know how Patrick feels about the content since we got to talk about it after we both read the book. I will need to sit and talk with Madison and Carter to see how they feel about it.
Thanks again for visitig OurPlace!!!
