ew...

so this weekend, i killed my first snake of the season! lol! living out where i live, this will be a regular occourance through the summer. josh (my little brother) has already seen one and i've seen a couple of the road out to my house. well, yesterday on my way home from church, i had josh, brittany and hannah (three of my sibs) in the car with me and was on our road inside our gate. i spotted it as soon as i topped the hill and it became a show-down! it was like one of those wild west movies where the two gunslingers hit the streets...i heard the typical music playing in the background and i'm pretty sure i heard the step of spurs too. i reved the engine and took off, speeding towards the snake and then right as i reached it.....*brake*!!! needless to say...i won! :) killing a snake with my car is about as close as i'll get to them! *shudders*...yuck... once i ran it over, we rolled the windows down and watched it move around a little bit. then it like moved all the sudden, and bit itself! so i took a picture (i'm so morbid, i know)! after a while it stretched back out and we saw the faint pattern of what looked like a copperhead! one dead...many more to go...!

this morning...i was on my way to take josh to the bus stop and then off to work, and going down the same road, saw a huge copperhead stretched across the road...i didn't have time to kill it. :( oh well...we shall meet again! *megan blows off tip of the gun and holsters it*
